CNC Machinery & Capabilities

Hipra’s steel manufacturing workshop is equipped with highly sophisticated machines for cutting and processing steel. For processing steel plates, we have following CNC machines:

•  CNC plasma cutter line for cutting, equipped with machining tools for drilling, milling and tapping, plate thickness from 6mm to 60mm
•  CNC plasma cutter line for cutting, creating holes with true hole technology, plate thickness from 1mm to 60mm
•  CNC laser line 2kW power for processing plates thickness up to 20 mm
•  CNC laser line 2kW power for processing plates thickness up to 35 mm

For processing steel profiles, we have following CNC machines:

•  CNC plasma cutter line with one active head tool, profile range up to 600 mm
•  CNC plasma cutter line with three simutanely active head tools, profile range up to 450 mm
•  CNC laser line for processing all types of profiles

Also, we have:

•  Robot hand for cutting and welding steel structure, working length 3000 mm, favorable for serial production

All machines cuts and drills steel profiles, makes long holes and its scribing unit, enables weld preparation (positioning). On all machines, marking units provide that welded steel parts are clearly marked for easy assemble on site. Other leading machines are CNC universal milling – center (4000 mm working length, 4 axes) for steel parts with strict tolerances and CNC hydraulic press brake (600 tones, 3200 mm working pieces). All above-mentioned machines together, with plenty accessory machines, make powerful combination for fast truck manufacturing.

Software & Welding Standards

Hipra uses Tekla software for steel manufacturing design. Our machines have the ability to be run by Tekla software and because of that our design can be easily implemented without programming machines.

Hipra employees more than 20 certified and skilled welders, working on modern welding machines which enable company to achieve big amount of welded steel structure. For welding of thin steel plates, we have laser welding machine. Welders can perform EXC2 and EXC3 class welds according to EN ISO 1090. Hipra also employees an IWE engineer.

All of our steel structures are pre-assembled at our site for quality control purpose. After the steel structure passes thorough dimensional and other inspections, HIPRA issues referenced control documentation and needed certifications. Subsequently, steel structure is being sent to HDG company for zinc coating and afterwards, if requested by client, is being sent to paint warehouse for painting.

Thereafter the steel structure is being placed into shipping pallets and prepared to go to its final destination.
